Crafty Christmas wrapping

I am pooped! I just spent the better part of an evening wrapping presents for all the various early childhood educators that look after my kids whilst I am at work. I got them jewelry, but the store didn't have cute packaging so I made my own! This is what I started out with:


And then tada! This is what I created:


I wrapped ribbon around these round plastic containers and then I blinged out the lid. My husband wasn't a big fan, but I thought they were cute. What do you think? Crafty or tacky? Leave me a comment and let me know - if you guys agree with my husband then I might go with a more traditional wrapping approach (read gift bags and tissue paper - I suck at wrapping)
